embargo ends 10/12/21 for driving impressions. should have some good videos coming in soon! I want to see this thing accelerate already!
Not too far off now! I'm anxious to hear some real-world impressions as well.

I'm hoping there isn't a lot of turbo lag, could be a deal breaker for me

Almost none, considering the two turbos are roughly the size of large apples. Especially if you were to go with the hybrid version, the electric motor (high torque) provides the necessary acceleration while those turbos start to create boost. Turbo lag is starting to become a thing of the past. That's not to say it isn't present in certain applications but I don't believe it will be very noticeable, if at all, among all trim levels of the new generation.

The beauty of the hybrid setup is that the electric power should fill in any lag and make for a nice linear power curve!
